l have obsessive-compulsive disorder and was taking Paxil for a couple of years... yesterday, my psych. changed me over to Prozac..... does anyone here have any experiences w/ prozac/??

Prozac does not work, at all. I do not know why it even exists. A couple years ago I took it, and had to be put in the hospital for a suicide attempt. It made me worse. I am no longer taking any kind of antidepressants because they do not work for me, at all. And I read that someone said zoloft works.maybe on SOME people, but my cousin was on that and he committed suicide. So, that just goes to show you, that not everyone can take a certain ''good'' antidepressant.

Do not mean to be a buzz-kill but it did not work for me. Prozac and the other SSRI is work approx. 70% of the time.

i've read studies that show anti-depressant drugs cause suicidal thoughts.

No personal experience but i've known people on it. I've heard nothing but bad things. Zoloft is better
