At best, most over-the-counter cold ''medications'' have merely a placebo effect. Still, it is unlikely that even taking cold & cough syrups will pose much risk, since they have very little alcohol content.

For ur sinuses, use nasal spray to relieve some of the pressure since it goes directly to the source instead of travelling through ur bloodstream. What I like to do when I am congested is to set my nose over a boiling pot of water to get the heat & water vapor through the nasal passages. Dryness is one of the main culprits for clogged sinuses.

Tylenol cold and sinus is usually pretty safe to take with just about anything.
