depression, anxiety and agoraphobia.l am so afraid of gaining weight when l begin a new antidepressant.Has anyone gained or lost weight while on Prozac?

l am weaning right now and feel that my stomach is very bloated.
I am weaning off of 90mg of Cymbalta to 40 mg of Prozac, because the Cymbalta no longer works for my
Prozac tends to cause weight loss and Cymbalta tends to cause weight gain (and horrible bloat).
The thing is, it can work both ways. Some people stop eating when depressed and they gain weight no matter which antidepressant they take. Other people overeat when they're depressed, and they lose weight.
If you did not gain weight on Cymbalta you will probably not gain on Prozac either, and Prozac is a lot less likely to make you bloat.
