Can Prozac effect someone academicaly, like at school

It can effect your work, as with any drug, because it can have side effects.

I take Prozac and fortunately I do not really experience any negative side effects. It works very well for me, so it is definitely worth trying in my opinion. You just have to wait and see how it effects you and regularly communicate with your doctor any sort of side effects you think you may be having, or if you notice that it is helping at all.

Depression is often accompanied by poor academic performance for many reasons (e.g., lethargy, lack of motivation, decreased concentration). In that sense, you could see an improvement in academic performance back to the levels prior to the onset of your depression (or other psychiatric issue) once the Prozac has had time to take effect.
